Bio

Meike serves as the STRIPE Project’s scoping review lead, overseeing the design, implementation, and initial analysis of the scoping review of the Smallpox Eradication Program and Global Polio Eradicatio Initiative literature that was undertaken. She also contributed to the curriculum design for the Global Health Course and has been engaged in producing scholarly outputs for the project.  

As a faculty member in the Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Meike’s research and teaching focuses on community health worker programs, community engagement strategies, primary health care, health equity, and approaches to strengthening the public health workforce globally through fellowships and the development of tailored curricula and related learning opportunities.
