The Synthesis and Translation of Research and Innovations in Polio Eradication (STRIPE) project seeks to map, synthesize, and disseminate knowledge from the polio eradication initiative using an implementation science lens. We are supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Using a multi methods approach we identify tacit and explicit knowledge related to polio eradication.
Globally and within each consortium country we assess and collate key findings and lessons learned.
We share our results through open access courses, case studies, publications, reports, and policy briefs.
STRIPE is a consortium comprised of the Johns Hopkins University and international partners in 7 countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, and Nigeria. At the global level and within each country, academic and research institutions collaborate to meet STRIPE’s objectives.
