Webin providing space for students to engage with new literacy practices and digital texts across learning areas, magnolia's teaching addressed multimodality and multiple literacy skills, corresponding with the concept of multiliteracies that embeds new literacies and critical literacy. Webchapter eight is devoted to the indicator multiliteracy. The chapter gives a justification for promoting a multiliteracy environment through utilizing literacy materials in different languages in learners’ repertoires and at various proficiency levels.
