Webwithout knowledge of demon slayers or nichirin swords, sanemi instead armed himself with a multitude of weapons and fought demons at night, incapacitating and capturing. Websanemi was shown to be much faster than muichiro in the kokushibo fight as the former was able to keep up with the demon's techniques while the latter was defeated easily. Websanemi has a lot to answer for, but fans must at least understand why sanemi is the way he is, and see how he fits in the bigger picture of demon slayer's story.
