Pet Owners Unite Join Gainesville S Thriving Pet Community - Jhu Innovations

The humane society of north central florida was created in 2018 when the leadership of the alachua county humane society, gainesville pet rescue, and helping hands pet rescue decided to permanently join forces. Our mission is to eliminate the needless euthanasia of healthy and treatable pets in north central florida. We are a no kill, all volunteer rescue orgainization dedicated to saving homeless animals, especially cats and kittens. The gainesville community joined forces in person and online last month to get wilson, a newly adopted black lab, safely home to clearwater after he was lost in haile plantation. This group is meant as a bridge between the pet care community and pet owners. It is an open discussion group for groomers and owners to ask each other questions without fear of being attacked.
